Ignite the Greatest Light Inside You

Realize that you ignite the greatest light inside if you are willing to reach out to the darkest and most neglected parts of you.

I invite you to do so now, at this very moment. Please take a look and see whether there is a negative emotion or thought inside you that shows up constantly and needs your attention. First realize that this dark emotion or thought is part of being human. Imagine that this dark area inside you is a child that has been neglected. You might find him/her hiding in a corner. Is it a boy or a girl?

Take a look and see whether you can find him or her, whether you can make contact with the child. Start with eye contact and then stretch out your hand carefully. Look at the child tenderly and see how hard he or she has tried to survive. This child is filled with joy and passion for life. However, he or she had to endure so much that the power of joy and passion has been distorted. The original energy of the child has become trapped in all kinds of masks and survival mechanisms, due to which their life force began to work against itself. But now, the child is allowed to be who he/she truly is. Please stretch out your hand and let your light shine. Welcome the child with your eyes.

Let the child come to you, in his/her own pace. Wait patiently, hold him/her in your arms and press him/her against your heart. What the child needs to relax and recover is to be seen and soothed by you. Observe how you shine with warmth, love and understanding when you are in contact with this helpless and agonized child. Inviting your darkest part in, welcoming it and bringing it home, brings out the lightest part of you. You understand how this child feels. This understanding heals. The child in the dark represents the part of you that has been carrying a lot of pain without being able to understand why. By surrounding this pain with understanding and compassion, you shine your light on areas that used to be the source of negative emotions and thoughts. At the moment you embrace the agonized child inside you, you become a human angel. You bring light into the darkness, which is exactly what humanity needs right now.

Humanity doesn’t need saints and guru’s who teach from a pulpit or pedestal, but real flesh and blood people who have experienced darkness and light by themselves and are able to embrace both without judgment. You become a human angel at the moment you dare to face and accept your own darkness. This will make your light pure and powerful. Life shall support you. You will be drawn to opportunities and places where you can reveal your highest self in an easy and natural way. You don’t have to work for it. You don’t have to pretend to be somebody else, since it is your own unique vibration and energy that inspires people and brings joy to them. It is you!

You represent the love of God in your unique way, because you are willing and able to face and embrace your own darkness with understanding. People experience openness, tenderness and inspiration in your presence, in the way you listen to them. Whatever you do in expressing and manifesting your highest self on earth, it will invite people to shine by themselves and believe in their own unique power and talents. To give the highest of you encourages other people to do the same.

Huna Kupua

Huna Kupua
by Serge Kahili King

Huna is a Hawaiian word meaning "secret," but it also refers to the esoteric wisdom of Polynesia. Kupua is another Hawaiian word and it refers to a specialized healer who works with the powers of the mind and the forces of nature. In that respect it is very similar to the Siberian Tungusic word "shaman."

The understanding of Huna described here comes from the kupua tradition of the Kahili family from the island of Kauai, through Serge Kahili King, who was adopted as the grandson of Joseph Kahili and trained in his tradition.

The Seven Principles
The basic assumptions of Huna are these:

1. The World Is What You Think It Is.
2. There are no limits.
3. Energy Flows Where Attention Goes.
4. Now Is The Moment Of Power.
5. To Love Is To Be Happy With (someone or something).
6. All Power Comes From Within.
7. Effectiveness Is The Measure Of Truth.

The Three Selves (or Four)
Another set of assumptions used in Huna is that human behavior and experience can be explained and changed through the interaction of three (sometimes four) selves, aspects or functions:

1. The High Self (Kane, Aumakua), inspires.
2. The Conscious Self (Lono) imagines.
3. The Subconscious Self (Ku) remembers.
4. The Core Self (Kanaloa) wills.

The Four Levels of Reality
A third set of assumptions coming from the kupua tradition divides all experience into four levels or frameworks of beliefs about reality which can be summarized as follows:

1. Everything is objective (Scientific reality).
2. Everything is subjective (Psychic reality).
3. Everything is symbolic (Shamanic reality).
4. Everything is holistic (Mystical reality).

The kupua (Hawaiian shaman) learns to move in and out of these realities in order to change experience more effectively.

One Little Glimpse of Eternity

by John Harricharan

It was many years ago. The boy was not more than

ten years old as he stood beside the man that early

morning. They were both standing on the shore of

the Atlantic looking east toward the rising sun. The

chill morning air caused a slight shiver to run through

the boy. The man, seeming to know, without even

looking, took off his jacket and draped it over the

small shoulders of his son.

They walked up to the water's edge as the man spoke:

"You see that wide expanse of water?

It is made of billions of gallons, and each gallon

is made of tens of thousands of drops."

The little boy seemed curious.

"And what are the drops made of?" he asked.

With a smile, the man replied: "The drops are made

of smaller and smaller drops, and each in turn is

made of bits and pieces of things

that make the very world we live in."

"What am I made of, Dad?"

the boy asked after a short while.

"Am I made of the same stuff as the ocean?"

The father smiled as he replied: "Everything is made

of everything else, and everything is a part of other

things. As you stand here this morning, you are a

part of this land, this shore, this ocean. Look at that

tree, the sky. They are parts of the very me and the

eternal I. There is a force that keeps us together.

Some call that force God, others, Allah, Jehovah, or

Love. There are a thousand names for this force, but

it doesn't matter what it's called. It just is. As you

grow older and wiser, you will find the stirring of this

mighty force within you.

You will know that it's always there,

and that you're safe and happy within it."

The boy, with a puzzled expression, looked at his

father and asked: "How can this force,

this God, be within me and at the same time

be in everything else I see?"

"Because," the man replied, "God is everything and

everyone. God is in you and in me, in those gulls

you see over there, in the sand under our feet and

the lilies of the field. God is everywhere and

everything, and there cannot be two of everything.

God is a part of you just like the

drop of water is a part of this ocean.

Remember this well and you will grow up to have

a sense of peace, joy and understanding..."

Decades have passed since I stood on that shore with

my father. I have since traveled to many countries,

lived in various cultures, and experienced deep sorrow

and great joy. I have seen the best and the worst of

my fellow human beings, Yet, through it all, I could

hear the voice of my father telling me:

"God is everywhere and everything,

and there cannot be two everything."

As a young boy, I grew up in a small village of Hindus,

Christians and Moslems. I learned at a very early age

that all people are shipmates on the common voyage

of life and that one cannot sink one's shipmates

without sinking oneself. As I studied the Vedic

writings and compared them with the words of the

Hebrew prophets and the teachings of the New

Testament Apostles, I found that the common thread

that ran through everything was love.

The greatest commandment ever given was

"Love your God and love one another" -

all others are simply variations on that theme.

Channeling Your Future Self

Teacher:
DL Zeta

Your future self provides one of the most valuable forms of feedback you can receive. If your future self is able to connect with you in consciousness, this is proof you are taking steps in your present moment to develop a wise and advanced future "you." This future “you” is able to offer guidance and reassurance that the steps you are taking in your present moment are aligned with your spiritual purpose. In this way, your future self is a wise
source of comfort and assurance.

In addition to providing important feedback, your future self is able to bring you information and guidance for your present moment. Much of this information arrives in the form of "channeled" information. Channeled information is received into your consciousness as "energetic downloads" that your conscious mind over time learns to translate into words, images, concepts and inventions. You may experience these downloads as moments of sudden insight and inspiration, or as the arrival of previously unknown information into your consciousness. This information may arrive through different “channels,” including automatic writing, conscious or unconscious verbal “trance” channeling visionary art and energy healing. These are just a few ways in which you might experience these downloads.

Those who receive channeled information often identify the source of the material as coming from beyond themselves. However, in many cases, channeled information arrives in one's consciousness as the direct result of bringing one's energetic vibration into resonance with an advanced future aspect of one’s being. This communion with your future self might take place on the subconscious level - or if your conscious mind and that of your future self are aware and awake, you will both consciously recognize the exchange that is taking place.

It is important to note that these downloads and exchanges can take place whether you are consciously aware of them are not. If your conscious mind or ego is firmly in control, it will claim credit for the ideas and information you receive from your other "selves." If your ego believes itself to be limited in terms of its capabilities, it may choose to identify this channeled information as coming from an entity or being totally outside the self. If your ego is in a state of surrender to your spiritual purpose, it will humbly recognize the guidance and assistance it receives from other aspects of your being.

Your Future Self and the Akashic Records

One of the gifts you can receive through conscious communion with your future self is greater access to the "future Akashics." The Akashic Records are the etheric library that houses knowledge of all that ever has been or will be. This library contains all events and responses concerning consciousness in all realities that exist within the universe.

Whenever you align with aspects of your self that exist in other locations within the time/space continuum, you become more powerfully focused in consciousness. This powerful focus allows greater access to the knowledge contained within the Universal or Cosmic Mind. It is this access to the records of all time that make clairvoyance and all forms of psychic perception possible.

Your Future Self Holds the Key to Your Life Purpose

Your future self holds the "roadmap" for the path of spiritual development that stretches before you. By tuning into your own future consciousness, you are able to download this map, which provides you with the next step on your spiritual path.

This self can help you see how events unfolding in your present moment are helping you grow and expand. Because your future self has already traveled the stretch of life experience you are presently traveling, it can help you better understand your life purpose as it is unfolding within your present moment even though they may feel challenging and difficult at the moment. As a wise guide and mentor, your future self can help guide you to each new step on your journey of becoming. It can help you attune to the higher vision of each person, event and situation that arrives in your life.

Letting go of the old you

The transition from ego based to heart based consciousness progresses along a number of stages:

1. Being unsatisfied by what ego based consciousness has to offer you, longing for "something else:" the beginning of the end.

2. Becoming aware of your ties to ego based consciousness, recognizing and releasing the emotions and thoughts that go with it: the middle of the end.

3. Letting the old ego based energies inside you die, throwing off the cocoon, becoming your new self: the end of the end.

4. The awakening of a heart based consciousness within you, motivated by love and freedom; helping others making the transition.
