Not Taking Things Personally

Several years ago I was in a group setting where we were practicing EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). EFT is a healing and energy balancing modality which stems from the core belief that "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." And "Our unresolved negative emotions are major contributors to most physical pains and diseases." (For more information kindly visit http://www.emofree.com.)
Through a process of tapping on the meridian points of the body, these energy disruptions or blockages can then be released and re-framed.

When I first began experiencing the discomfort of the higher energies hitting my blocked energy spots from toddler rapes, abuse, and much life trauma, this process was greatly helpful in the beginning stages. (Please note that as we progress through the ascension process, many kinds of healing only serve to take us back into spaces where we are no longer vibrating, and thus, healing is no longer needed and is even detrimental. Also, we eventually see that nothing needs to be "fixed" or is wrong once we reach a certain vibration. Our new little ones receiving vaccinations is another example of energies that are totally out of alignment and way too much of a stretch. The vaccinations contain very low level energy and this energy is extremely uncomfortable to these new and higher vibrating babies...and the vaccinations exist in another reality altogether! I am not suggesting or telling anyone what to do here, in this regard. My grandchildren still receive vaccinations, as my daughter feels that this is the right thing. It is always best to go with what feels right to you at the time, as this will place you in alignment with yourself.)

While we were tapping away one evening, something suddenly became vibrantly clear. One of the many wonderful things about EFT, is that is serves to give a person the clear and "real" version of things (without the human mis-perceptions and density). What became so blatantly obvious was that what holds us back so many times, is the human pattern of taking things personally. This is because we tend to view things from our ego stance, or dis-connect stance, or rather, through the filter of our blocked energy. We think that everything is about us.

"How can we not take things personally, when we only attract what we are vibrating in the first place?" you may wonder. What holds true for all of creation, or how creating works, is that we create from both sides. For example: Most of you who are reading this, realize that we are most certainly going through a spiritual evolutionary process while here in form. What created this process, and why did it begin in the first place? It is being fueled from the outside and from the inside. Our positioning in the universe, and the positioning of the planets, is creating it on the outside. So are the solar flares, and basically all of the cosmos. This is resulting in a raising of our vibration.
At the same time, we as human beings, and all the non-physical beings, are summoning this process from the inside. So then, everything is happening at once...culminating in one big creation that meets in a portal of creation in the middle.

Did the chicken lay the egg, or did the egg lay the chicken? Which came first? In all of creation, everything happens at once when vibrations reach a certain level of frequency. It is then that manifestation occurs when things culminate through like energies attracting like energies. Similar to always having everything we need, the pieces come together more easily when there is less density. So then, do we attract our experiences, or do our experiences attract us? And how does this relate to not taking things personally?

As we vibrate higher and higher, we shed off our density, or the lower vibrating aspects of ourselves. Higher and lower energies cannot exist in the same space, and we are now residing in a higher realm. We only react to things if they trigger something within us that is a match in vibration. As we begin to vibrate higher, we then begin to embody higher ways of being, and not reacting to the outside environment is one of these ways of being. Just like all of the nature kingdom, we eventually come to a place where we simply are. The more purified version of ourselves is composed of our special gifts and talents, our connection to Source, and not much else. In this way, we can be shining our brightest light the majority of the time. Everything else belongs to someone or something else.

There are times when we must visit the lower vibrating aspects of reality, as all of the earth is not yet in the same space of vibration and evolution. As always, we can spend time in the denser vibrations, but not for very long, as it is just too unpleasant and at times intolerable. This is the way it was intended. One way to "survive" while dropping down and visiting the lower vibrations is to simply shine our light as brightly as we can. This involves not taking things personally, or reacting to and becoming involved with the dramas that may be occurring. When we interact or respond to these lower vibrating dramas, we then become a part of them ourselves, and only serve to fuel and support them. In addition, reacting to any lower vibrating dramas (or creations) activates them within us as well (just as receiving certain types of healing does). Eventually, the energies that we have not yet released or balanced within us, simply become dormant. So when we are in a higher vibrating reality, they do not become activated; similar to the process of natural selection.

By simply being who we are at our highest levels, just like a flower would do, for instance, we are then able to raise the vibration we are in, as well as maintaining our own. Staying centered with who we truly are, while maintaining a connection to Source, is the best way to survive any visits to the denser realities. Most things on the outside eventually do not ever belong to us....period.

When we attract situations in our lives that create an emotional response, or charge, this is because we have a corresponding energy pattern that is connected to our dis-connect or ego selves. As we begin to evolve, we can still attract situations or see them unfolding around us, but if we have no particular feelings or emotions about them, then we are free and clear to be who we are at the highest levels. Not taking things personally is one way to do this. Energies we encounter are not always about us. This is one of the reasons I love writing the energy alerts. The energy alerts serve to show us that we are all one, having the same experience. In this way, we need not take things personally. When we all experience the same thing at the same time, we come to know then, that we have not done anything wrong, are not attracting a bad experience because we have an "issue," and everything is as it should be. We are just vibrating higher and going through the same stages of ascension at the same time. All is in perfect order, as this is what we came to do.

Make A Difference

Make A Difference

A man saw an old woman stooped over on a beach covered with starfish.

He asked her what she was doing, to which she replied, "I am throwing the starfish back into the sea; if I don't, they will dry up and die."

Laughing, the man said, "But Old Woman, there are so many starfish on the beach, you can't possibly make a difference."

She picked up a starfish and threw it back into the sea. Then looking at the man, she said, "I just did to that one."

The next day, the old woman visited the beach to check on the starfish. She saw the same man and his children throwing the starfish back into the sea. "Hello, Old Woman," he said with fulfillment in his eyes, "we are here to make a difference to a few more starfish."

Collectively we will effect the world.

Make yourself depression-proof

You can make yourself recession-proof by making yourself depression-proof. Just apply these simple guidelines to your life, and find a calm and peace that you had forgotten could exist within you:

  1. Do not associate yourself with negative people, naysayers, energy vampires and chronic critics;

  2. Do not live beyond your means...there is no competition worth entering where you must worry daily about meeting huge bills. People do not generally steal and cut ethical corners when they do not have constant pressure upon them to "live bigger and spend more". It seems foolish to give the bulk of your money to a group of faceless creditors;

  3. Do not become addicted to listening to the constant litany of negative news in the media -- read some good books and listen to some enjoyable music instead;

  4. Dedicate some time to learn something new every day -- set aside time for hobbies and things that you enjoy...reward yourself;

  5. Take a walk and get some fresh air every day -- don't stay cooped up and suffer from "cabin fever.";

  6. Eat healthier, non-processed foods, and take time to prepare some of your own meals;

  7. Exercise daily. In fact, develop an exercise regimen -- it will help you to feel alive and energetic;

  8. Plan things ahead of time in order to avoid last-minute panic and stress. Determine in advance when you will shop, run errands, get your automobile serviced, etcetera;

  9. Cultivate a circle of trustworthy friends in whom you can confide (no losers allowed in your circle!); and, most importantly,

  10. Treat others as you would have them treat you - with respect, dignity and grace.
Simplify your life, and enjoy the journey!

Universal Laws

Drs. Milanovich and McCune in The Light Shall Set You Free (1998) state there are 12 Universal Laws, and 21 sub-laws, that describe ways in which cause and effect are related. The Universal Laws can also be viewed as guidelines for behaviors that will enhance our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual growth. Dr. Bailey works with her clients to help them understand and apply these laws to their lives.

The Universal Laws are all inter-related and are founded on the understanding that everything in the universe is energy, including us, and that energy moves in a circular fashion. At the microscopic level, we are a whirling mass of electrons and energy atoms spinning rapidly. In fact, everything in the world is comprised of energy and we are intimately connected with this sea of energy, this sea of whirling electrons.

Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions are all forms of energy. What we think, feel, say, and do in each moment comes back to us to create our realities. Energy moves in a circle, so what goes around comes around. The combined thoughts, feelings, words and actions of everyone on the planet creates our collective consciousness, it creates the world we see before us.

The exciting news is, because our thoughts, feelings, words and actions create the world around us, we have the power to create a world of peace, harmony and abundance. In order to do this, it is essential that we learn to control our thoughts and emotions. Understanding the Universals Laws help us to do this.

1. The Law of Divine Oneness:

The Law of Divine Oneness helps us to understand that we live in a world where everything is connected to everything else. Everything we do, say, think and believe affects others and the universe around us.

2. The Law of Vibration:

This Universal Law states that everything in the Universe moves, vibrates, and travels in circular patterns. The same principles of vibration in the physical world apply to our thoughts, feelings, desires, and wills in the Etheric world. Each sound, thing, and even thought has its own vibrational frequency, unique unto itself.

3. The Law of Action:

The Law of Action must be applied in order for us to manifest things on earth. Therefore, we must engage in actions that support our thoughts, dreams, emotions and words.

4. The Law of Correspondence:

This Universal Law states that the principles or laws of physics that explain the physical world – energy, Light, vibration, and motion – have their corresponding principles in the etheric or universe. “As above, so below.”

5. The Law of Cause and Effect:

This Universal Law states that nothing happens by chance or outside the Universal Laws. Every action has a reaction or consequence and we “reap what we have sown.”

6. The Law of Compensation:

This Universal Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance that are provided for us. The visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances, friendships, and blessings.

7. The Law of Attraction:

This Universal Law demonstrates how we create the things, events, and people that come into our lives. Our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions produce energies which, in turn, attract like energies. Negative energies attract negative energies and positive energies attract positive energies.

8. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy:

This Universal Law states that all persons have within them the power to change the conditions in their lives. Higher vibrations consume and transform lower ones; thus, each of us can change the energies in our lives by understanding the Universal Laws and applying the principles in such a way as to effect change.

9. The Law of Relativity:

This Universal Law states that each person will receive a series of problems (Tests of Initiation) for the purpose of strengthening the Light within. We must consider each of these tests to be a challenge and remain connected to our hearts when proceeding to solve the problems. This law also teaches us to compare our problems to others’ problems and put everything into its proper perspective. No matter how bad we perceive our situation to be, there is always someone who is in a worse position. It is all relative.

10. The Law of Polarity:

This Universal Law states that everything is on a continuum and has an opposite. We can suppress and transform undesirable thoughts by concentrating on the opposite pole. It is the law of mental vibrations.

11. The Law of Rhythm:

This Universal Law states that everything vibrates and moves to certain rhythms. These rhythms establish seasons, cycles, stages of development, and patterns. Each cycle reflects the regularity of God’s universe. Masters know how to rise above negative parts of a cycle by never getting too excited or allowing negative things to penetrate their consciousness.

12. The Law of Gender:

This Universal Law states that everything has its masculine (yang) and feminine (yin) principles, and that these are the basis for all creation. The spiritual Initiate must balance the masculine and feminine energies within herself or himself to become a Master and a true co-creator with God.

Sub-laws

In addition to the 12 Universal Laws there are 21 sub-laws of the Universe that are governed by the Higher Self. Using Milanovich and McCune’s stellar work, Dr. Bailey works with her clients to understand and apply these laws to their lives by first differentiating between the voice of the ego and that of the Higher Self, and then by practicing techniques designed to align one’s self with her or his Higher Self.

The 21 sub-laws are actually human characteristics that relate to the Universal Laws. These characteristics are: Aspiration to A Higher Power, Charity, Compassion, Courage, Dedication, Faith, Forgiveness, Generosity, Grace, Honesty, Hope, Joy, Kindness, Leadership, Noninterference, Patience, Praise, Responsibility, Self-Love, Thankfulness, and Unconditional Love.

Frequency Alignment

You are in each moment choosing your own frequency alignment. You are choosing which reality you will experience. The spotlight is on you as you, yourself, consciously align with the energies of Love, you are also serving Spirit in the best possible way. Frequency is contagious. For many eons, the frequencies of fear have been a contagion upon your plane. Now the frequencies of love are entering in and the long awaited and prophesied shift is occurring..

It is the shifting within each one of you that is creating the shifting in your outer world. The new station is moving much closer to being fully functional. As you, yourself, are able to tune this new station in, align with its higher frequency, you will be assisting many others in their alignment as well. You will be emitting a strong signal for others to pick up..

We know that some of you, having read thus far, are still having fearful thoughts about what may happen in your world and to you personally. Know this, Beloved Ones, the more clearly you are aligned with the frequencies of Love, the more your life will flow with grace and ease. It cannot be otherwise..

The more of you who align together in the frequency of love, the more your collective planetary shifting will occur with grace and ease. You will not notice that anything is amiss. Do not concern yourself with that over which you have no control. Instead, focus completely on finding your peace within..

Inasmuch as possible, remove yourself from all sources of stress, antagonism and fear. Seek nurturance with those who resonate at the frequencies most close to your own. If you find yourself needing to change locations, change your personal relationships; do that. That which causes you unhappiness will keep you also in the lower frequencies of fear. Although you live on a plane of free will, we in the higher dimensions are here to assist you in every possible way. You must ask, though, you must call it forth.. you must desire to move higher than fear!

Radiating Your Essence

What is your essence? Do you know?

by Scott and Shannon Peck

We can know someone’s essence by describing their core values. For example, someone may exude joy, generosity, creativity or love.

You can also learn someone’s essence by describing their energy. For example, what are the top words you’d use to describe your core essence and energy? Some people’s energy is calm or peaceful. Others exude the energy of compassion or giving. Here are words describing people’s primary energy that a group came up with at a recent workshop: big and beautiful, sweet and praising, pure, enthusiastic, authentic, feminine, highly aware, unifier, innocent, beautiful, poised, loving and principled. There are a million words to describe people’s energies.

Have you come up with your five yet? Please do, because the first step of radiating your essence is knowing your essence!

Our unique essence often remains hidden because we don’t identify it or celebrate it. How would you like to live in a world where everyone celebrated your essence? They would be acknowledging, celebrating and honoring the primary qualities that best describe you. By doing so, it would continually remind you of who you really are, how valuable you are and how you are being perceived by others in successful ways. How wonderful would that be? And how wonderful would it be for you to be the one doing that for others.

One way to get started on celebrating your essence is through observing your inner talk. Rather than judging or condemning yourself with inner statements such as, “I’m not pretty or handsome. I’m not important. No one cares. I’m not loveable or capable,” you’d practice inner love talk that celebrates your true self – based on how you have identified your core self. For example, you’d remind yourself, “I have inner beauty. I am good. I am valuable and loveable. I am a treasure. What I carry in my heart is beautiful. I am love. I am worthy of expressing my radiance.

The reason we are so confident that you can easily celebrate your essence once you identify it is that everyone’s true self is basically composed of goodness. It’s time to go back to the roots of our original goodness and call it forward to shine.

No doubt, as you contemplate radiating your essence, the first thing that comes up is the negative response from those you anticipate won’t appreciate your lovely efforts of sharing with them your radiance. In fact, the mere thought of these people may even make you cringe in anticipation of their inevitable criticism.

So how do you get past that one? Here’s one way:

Rely on your inner radar to tell you when it’s safe for your essence to shine. It may be with only a few people that you feel emotionally safe enough to share your unguarded inner self. Those, then will be the ones you will begin with radiating your essence. When you are around these people, dare to summon the courage to somehow shine forth.

For instance, if you identify yourself primarily as a nurturer, a healer or a clown (those three words are a good description of Shannon’s essence), be sure to express that deliberately and even exaggerate these qualities when you are with one of those people with whom you feel emotionally safe. Notice how far you can go without drawing back. And notice the response you get. Since these are persons who accept you as you are, ask them for feedback on what they most enjoyed in your essence sharing. As you do this, you’ll gain more confidence in being the real you.

Scott shares his primary core self by his energies of warmth, embracing others with his strength of empowering them to go higher and his desire to unify and bring people together. When he’s doing this, he feels he’s living at one with his true self. When he doesn’t radiate this essence, he (as all of us do) feels lost, uninspired and doubtful about his value. What if we or you, fail to radiate our essence? This would be a terrible loss – to the universe. On some days we forget who we are. We all do this. But our desire and commitment to remember to practice who we are at a nine or ten will bring all of us to a higher vibration of love.

It’s better to give yourself lots of room to make mistakes and goof up than to continue the pattern of holding back. It would be a great loss if everyone on the planet shared their radiance at a six rather than at a ten. Practice being a ten yourself and sharing with others what you yourself would love to receive of their radiance. It will begin a new wave of love on earth! Welcome to the heart of love.

Strayed from the Sacred Way

Elder's Meditation of the Day - April 3

"We know that in all creation
Only the human family
Has strayed from the Sacred Way"

--OJIBWA Prayer

How have we gotten so far off track? What has happened to us? What is happening to our family? How did it happen so quickly? Every individual needs to answer these questions for themselves. What do we need to do to start living the Sacred Way again? Pray! Today I will start praying. I pray the Creator will lead all Native People to a great healing. I pray we'll be free from alcohol and drugs.

I pray we will return to the culture, to spirituality and to unity.

My Mother, help us to heal ourselves.
Make us strong again.

Sometimes (Nothing Lasts Forever)

I feel the world breathing its ugliness into my mind.
I feel the evil spirit of indecision eating at my soul.
I feel the nightmares of misty voices of faces I can not find.
feel the day's emptiness of a forgotten life taking its tool.
But only sometimes.

When I'm alone I hear the unspoken word of a friendly foe.
When I'm alone I hear nothing but the footsteps of my own fleeing sanity.
When I'm alone I hear the voice of the child, “Say it isn't so.”
When I'm alone I hear the the insults of my own vanity.
But only sometimes.

When I'm with you, you say you love me, but my mind does not compute it.
When I'm with you, a room cluttered with chairs separates us from the truth.
When I'm with you feelings of sorrow give it proof.
I hear friends speak of nothing on the realm of the happy kingdom.
I hear the sounds of laughter coming from very corner.
I hear the waves of friendly salvation as the rising of the sun.
I hear the voice of the child saying, “Come home, sweet Martyr.”
But only sometimes.

Sometimes I'm weak.
Sometimes I'm strong.
Sometimes I see.
Sometimes not.
Nothing lasts forever.

I wrote those on one of those nights I feeling really depressed.

Balance

"Balance is implicit in the Red Road. When you're on the Red Road, you are in the center. Yet, you do not go to either extreme, and you allow both sides to exist. This is accomplished by continually postponing surrendering to temptation, whatever it may be. It is saying ..later' instead of ..no.'"
--Dr. A.C. Ross (Ehanamani), LAKOTA

The Sacred Path of life has a middle, a left side, and a right side. As human beings, we are designed to walk this middle path as much as we can. As we walk, we will stray to the left and to the right and come back to the middle. Straying to the left or right side is as sacred as being in the middle. Sometimes we call this straying our mistakes. We are designed by the Creator to walk to Sacred Path of life, and realize that our mistakes are the source of lessons. These lessons give us our wisdom. It is not wrong that we are tempted. What matters is what we do with the temptation.

Great Spirit, today, let me enjoy the Sacred Path of Life.
